After a successful first year, we are looking to complement our service team—by agreement—with a Restaurant specialist EFZ.

The Sihlsteg restaurant creates an atmosphere of arrival, relaxation and enjoyment. The dishes are rooted in classical cuisine, with influences from modern cooking methods and plating techniques. A blend of classic and modern with various influences from Central Europe to the Far East. Our à la carte restaurant has around 80 seats in the dining room, 24 seats in the gallery and about 100 seats on the terrace.

 

Your responsibilities with us:

In this position you run your own service station and, together with the team, ensure that our guests feel completely at ease. A friendly manner and a smile are as much part of the job for you as providing professional service.

  • Independent management of a service station, including cash handling
  • Attending to our guests, including active selling and advising
  • Daily mise en place tasks

  • Assisting with banquets and events
  • Tidying up and cleaning duties
  • Adherence to our hygiene and workplace safety guidelines

  • Shifts in the evenings and on weekends

What you bring

You work with passion in hospitality, enjoy interacting with guests and keep an overview even during busy service periods.

  • Qualification as a restaurant specialist (Restaurationsfachfrau/-mann EFZ) or equivalent professional experience
  • Open, engaging and communicative personality
  • Reliable, flexible and precise way of working
  • Team spirit and collegial behaviour
  • Positive and solution-oriented attitude
  • Enthusiasm for further development and active involvement
  • Good command of German and English for guest interactions
  • Well-groomed appearance
